adidas’ multiple entrants into the chunky sneaker demographic have been noticeable, with models the likes of the Yung-1 and the Falcon. Now, the Three Stripes has plans to create a modified version of the former by way of the Yung 96. Inspired by the brand’s rich history, it’s introductory color comes in all white to allow for the silhouette to speak for itself. Featuring a sleeker look than most of today’s “dad” shoes, it should entice consumers who haven’t quite been bit by the chunky sneaker bug. While triple white will kick things off, a complex layering system will allow for adidas’ design team to get creative with future color schemes. Pairs of this angelic take on the brand new Yung 96 are scheduled to arrive at adidas.
